Uniform

The school uniform for boys and girls consists of:

  • Blue jumper or cardigan either plain or bearing the school’s logo
  • Dark Grey/black shorts/trousers (tracksuit and sports shorts are not to be worn on non-P.E. days)
  • Black/dark grey skirt of a decent length. Skorts are not to be worn on non-P.E. days.
  • Plain white or pale blue polo shirt or white shirt
  • Blue checked summer dress
  • Black low-heeled shoes.
  • black/grey/white socks or grey/black tights
  • Sports trainers may not be worn in school other than for P.E. Plain black trainer style shoes are acceptable.
  • Optional outdoor fleece

PE uniform – children should come to school wearing their PE kit on PE days

The school P.E. uniform for boys and girls consists of:

  • House colour t-shirt either plain or with the school’s logo
  • Black or navy shorts, leggings, skorts. Shorts must be of a decent length, no micro shorts.
  • Trainers
  • Plain black, dark grey or navy tracksuit for cold weather.

Football kits and branded hoodies or tracksuits are not to be worn for P.E.

All items of clothing need to be named. No designer wear is allowed.

Purchasing Uniform

School jumpers, cardigans, T-shirts and fleeces with the logo, along with baseball caps and P.E bags and book bags, may be purchased from Mainly Monograms via the school office. Mainly Monograms was chosen for its quality products, competitive prices and excellent service to parents. Plain supermarket uniform in the school colours are acceptable.  The PTA regularly organise sales of quality second hand items.

Jewellery

For reasons of safety and security, jewellery must not be worn in school. If your child has pierced ears, please ensure that only one set of small studs are worn. These must be removed or taped over for P.E. if the piercing is new.  Children will be asked to remove additional sets of earrings. They will be put into an envelope to be taken home at the end of the day.

Smart watches must not be worn and will be kept safe until the end of the school day if brought into school.

Make-up, nail varnish and hair

We request that long hair is tied back on PE days and boys refrain from having patterns shaved into haircuts. 

Children must not wear make-up, including nail varnish, to school.
